Special Display: Red-Painted Spouted Vessel (Jōmon)

Held to coincide with the "Jōmon Summer Festival" at Funka Bay Panorama Park, this special display presents the museum's red-painted spouted vessel — a Hokkaido-designated cultural property not normally on view — in the permanent exhibition room. A rare, limited-run showing arranged to protect the piece from fading. Free admission.
