These Terms of Use ("these Terms") set out the conditions for using MUSEUM DOOR ("the Site"). By using the Site, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to the relationship between the Site and all users who use the Site ("users").

Article 2 (Listed information)

  1. Exhibition information published on the Site is created based on each museum's official information, after obtaining that museum's permission to list it.
  2. While we take the utmost care regarding accuracy, we do not guarantee that listed information is current or complete. Please check each museum's official information for actual dates and content.
  3. Listed information may be changed or removed without notice.

Article 3 (Intellectual property)

  1. Rights to the museum names, exhibition titles, images, and the like published on the Site belong to their respective rights holders.
  2. Copyright in the Site's design, text, programs, and the like belongs to the Site's operator.
  3. Users may not reproduce, reprint, or redistribute the Site's content beyond the scope of private use.

Article 4 (Prohibited conduct)

When using the Site, users must not engage in any of the following conduct.

  • Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
  • Conduct that places an excessive load on the Site's servers or network
  • Conduct that interferes with the operation of the Site
  • Reproducing, reprinting, or redistributing the Site's listed information for commercial purposes without permission
  • Altering information on the Site
  • Any other conduct the Site deems inappropriate

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Site's operator makes no warranty whatsoever as to the accuracy, usefulness, or suitability of the listed information.
  2. The Site's operator is not liable for any damage arising from a user's use of information on the Site.
  3. The Site's operator is not responsible for the content of external sites linked from the Site.

Article 6 (Changes to and suspension of the service)

The Site's operator may change the content of the Site, or suspend or terminate the Site, without notice. The operator is not liable for any damage caused to users as a result.

Article 7 (Changes to these Terms)

The Site's operator may change these Terms without users' consent when it deems necessary. The revised Terms take effect when they are posted on the Site.

Article 8 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

  1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
  2. In the event of any dispute relating to the Site, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Site's operator shall be the court of exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
