A "museum of sea, glass and garden" featuring the internationally acclaimed glass works of artist Kyohei Fujita (1921-2004), an observation terrace overlooking the beautiful sea and islands of Matsushima, and a 7,000-tsubo water garden. Watched over by the scenery of Matsushima, the museum lets visitors take their time admiring world-class masterpieces by Fujita-who poured his passion into glass-including his signature "Kazaribako" decorative boxes. A museum shop offering fashion, art and lifestyle goods, along with seasonal special exhibitions, are also highlights.
