Permanent Exhibition: A 1928 Wooden Hot-Spring Inn

Opened in 1928 as an inn for ordinary travellers and now preserved as a cultural facility of Ito Onsen. The building makes lavish use of cypress, cedar and irregularly shaped timbers, and the craftsmanship of its era survives in the corridors, staircases and guest-room entrances.
