Permanent Exhibition

Set in old houses scattered through the maze-like streets of Tonosho on Shodoshima, this museum shows more than 800 contemporary yokai figures gathered through open call, arranged by theme — the origins of yokai, oversized yokai, and the Mononoke Mandala.
