Permanent Exhibition: The History and Making of Marugame Uchiwa

A museum devoted to Marugame uchiwa, a nationally designated traditional craft. On show are fans tracing the craft's history, model figures illustrating each stage of production, historical documents, and fans from across Japan. Artisans demonstrate the techniques, and visitors can try making a fan themselves.
