Silent Spaces, Portraits, Bodies: Rongjuan, Scenes of Light

A photography exhibition curated by the art historian Shunji Ito, in three series: Huang Tzu-Ming's tattoos of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, Shen Chao-Liang's Zi Qiang, and Lian Juan Juan Cun by the Chiayi City humanistic photography project. Working through the themes of space, portrait and body, it follows histories written on the skin, the living quarters of the juancun military villages, and the memories carried into their rebuilt forms. Admission free; closed weekends and public holidays.
