Permanent Exhibition: The Kofu Air Raid and Tanzan Ishibashi

Two strands run through the displays: the 1945 air raid on Kofu, examined from the perspectives of both those who suffered and those who bombed, set against the wider history of strategic bombing; and the life and thought of Tanzan Ishibashi, who argued for peace, civil rights and liberalism against the tide of imperial expansion.
