Marking 150 years since the founding of Morimura-gumi, pioneers of Japan-US trade in the Meiji era, this exhibition presents the finely painted Western-style tableware of Nippon Toki (now Noritake) and Okura Toen, and Morimura's support for culture including Okayama-born painter Hara Busho.
