A special exhibition marking the museum's reopening after roughly a year and nine months of renovation. Billed as an "introduction," it gives the museum's own collection room to breathe: four Important Cultural Properties shown together for the first time in about twenty years, materials connected to Minamoto no Yoritomo, ukiyo-e prints, documents relating to the Hōjō clan of Odawara, and crafts. The run is split into a first half (17 October–15 November) and a second half (17 November–13 December), with some works rotated. Admission is free on 17 and 18 October and on 3 November. Otherwise ¥600 general, ¥400 under-20s and students, ¥200 for 65 and over, ¥100 high school students, free for junior high and younger. The museum is closed for renovation until 16 October 2026 and reopens on the 17th, the day this exhibition begins.
