50th Anniversary Special Exhibition: 50 Years of the Daigo Fukuryu Maru and Yumenoshima

A special exhibition marking the museum's 50th anniversary, looking back on the half-century since the Daigo Fukuryu Maru (Lucky Dragon 5) was preserved on Yumenoshima, once known as "Garbage Island." Alongside it: artist Seitaro Kuroda's paintings of the 1954 Bikini Atoll incident, and a summer exhibition of works by local schoolchildren.
