Nabeshima and Ko-Imari: Vessels for a Cool Season

2026.07.04 〜 2026.11.15

Crafts

Nabeshima ware, made for the domain's own kiln, and the more ornate Ko-Imari porcelain, selected here around the idea of coolness in summer. The gallery sits on the second floor of Imari Station and shows around 80 works at a time, rotated from a collection of 315 pieces centred on Edo-period Nabeshima and Ko-Imari. Admission free (special exhibitions may charge). Open 10:00–17:00; closed Mondays (the following day if Monday is a public holiday) and 29 December–3 January.
