Permanent Exhibition: The History of Kure, Large Artefacts and Maritime Science

A museum of maritime history and science in Kure, a city shaped by its naval port and by shipbuilding and steel. The displays run from the Yamato Plaza and the History of Kure on the ground floor, through a hall of large original artefacts, to the science and technology gallery on the third floor, with further exhibits outdoors.
